NickServ Commands

/ns help

-NickServ- NickServ allows you to register a nickname and
-NickServ- prevent others from using it. The following
-NickServ- commands allow for registration and maintenance of
-NickServ- nicknames; to use them, type /msg NickServ command.
-NickServ- For more information on a specific command, type
-NickServ- /msg NickServ HELP command.
-NickServ- ACCESS Modify the list of authorized addresses
-NickServ- AJOIN Manage your auto join list
-NickServ- ALIST List channels you have access on
-NickServ- CERT Modify the nickname client certificate list
-NickServ- CONFIRM Confirm a passcode
-NickServ- DROP Cancel the registration of a nickname
-NickServ- GLIST Lists all nicknames in your group
-NickServ- GROUP Join a group
-NickServ- HELP Displays this list and give information about commands
-NickServ- IDENTIFY Identify yourself with your password
-NickServ- INFO Displays information about a given nickname
-NickServ- LIST List all registered nicknames that match a given pattern
-NickServ- LOGOUT Reverses the effect of the IDENTIFY command
-NickServ- RECOVER Regains control of your nick
-NickServ- REGISTER Register a nickname
-NickServ- RESETPASS Helps you reset lost passwords
-NickServ- SET Set options, including kill protection
-NickServ- STATUS Returns the owner status of the given nickname
-NickServ- UNGROUP Remove a nick from a group
-NickServ- UPDATE Updates your current status, i.e. it checks for new memos

-NickServ- Services Operator commands
-NickServ- GETEMAIL, SASET, SUSPEND, UNSUSPEND
-NickServ-
-NickServ- Use the HELP ALL command to list all commands and their descriptions.
-NickServ-
-NickServ- Services Operators can also drop any nickname without needing
-NickServ- to identify for the nick, and may view the access list for
-NickServ- any nickname.
-NickServ-
-NickServ- Accounts that are not used anymore are subject to
-NickServ- the automatic expiration, i.e. they will be deleted
-NickServ- after 365 days if not used.
-NickServ-
-NickServ- NOTICE: This service is intended to provide a way for
-NickServ- IRC users to ensure their identity is not compromised.
-NickServ- It is NOT intended to facilitate "stealing" of
-NickServ- nicknames or other malicious actions. Abuse of NickServ
-NickServ- will result in, at minimum, loss of the abused
-NickServ- nickname(s).

-NickServ- Syntax: set option parameters
-NickServ-
-NickServ- Sets various nickname options. option can be one of:
-NickServ- SET AUTOOP Sets whether services should set channel status modes on you automatically.
-NickServ- SET DISPLAY Set the display of your group in Services
-NickServ- SET EMAIL Associate an E-mail address with your nickname
-NickServ- SET GREET Associate a greet message with your nickname
-NickServ- SET HIDE Hide certain pieces of nickname information
-NickServ- SET KEEPMODES Enable or disable keep modes
-NickServ- SET KILL Turn protection on or off
-NickServ- SET LANGUAGE Set the language Services will use when messaging you
-NickServ- SET MESSAGE Change the communication method of Services
-NickServ- SET PASSWORD Set your nickname password
-NickServ- SET PRIVATE Prevent the nickname from appearing in the LIST command
-NickServ- SET SECURE Turn nickname security on or off
-NickServ- SET URL Associate a URL with your account
-NickServ- Type /msg NickServ HELP set option for more information
